NEW ARRIVALS

Ellen shares New Arrivals, wines that are unique, exceptional or worthy of note in some way.  Enjoy!

Montagne Saint Émilion Wine Label
Château Faizeau

Sélection Privée Vieilles Vignes Montagne-Saint-Émilion

The origins of this estate date back to a medieval Benedictine monastery. Today, the 29-acre estate has produced a rich—almost too rich—wine. Its jammy blackberry fruits are spoiled by the hint of pepper that comes from the alcohol. Still, the fruit is ripe and dense with a backing of firm tannins.

Adaptation Cabernet Wine Bottle
Odette - NAPA VALLEY

2016 Adaptation Cabernet Sauvignon

Mother Nature brought us another beautiful vintage in 2016. The balanced growing season resulted in wines with an enhanced purity of fruit, elegance and fine, yet firm tannins with beautiful complexity. This approachable 2016, delivers notes of rainier cherries, currants, elderberries, incense, forest floor, and dried herbs with bright acidity, adding freshness and verve to the long persistent finish.

Piper-Heidsieck Cuvee Brut wine bottle
Non-Vintage Sparkling Wine from Champagne, France

Piper-Heidsieck Cuvee Brut

The Brut NV represents the epitome of the Piper-Heidsieck style: a classic, well-structured, and fruit forward champagne. Piper-Heidsieck carefully selects fruit from more than 100 of Champagne’s crus to blend the Brut NV. This adds great complexity and dimension to the wine and allows the bold Piper-Heidsieck style to shine through. A majority blend of Pinot Noir provides structure to the composition while Pinot Meunier expands the wine with its brilliant fruit expression and fleshiness and Chardonnay bring elegant tones and acidity. The precious reserve wines create a consistent flavor profile year after year.

2017 J. LOHR PURE PASO™ PROPRIETARY RED WINE
PROPRIETARY RED WINE

2017 J. LOHR PURE PASO™

Classic Cabernet Sauvignon with its savory notes are wrapped in the dark fruit character of Petite Sirah.  Pairs well with tomato rice dishes like paella or creamy risotto. Exquisite with prime rib or a dense monkfish.

2019 Beaujolais Nouveau Wine Bottle

Joseph Drouhin Beaujolais Nouveau 2019

Winemaker Notes:
The wines are colorful, have a style of very crisp fruit and lovely freshness, so very promising to produce a Beaujolais Nouveau as we like it; luscious and fruity.

FOOD PAIRINGS: as an aperitif, a fun wine for all occasions.
